Anatomy: "Where were you when?"

The word "anatomy" is defined as a study of the structure or internal workings of something. In this week's blog, I'd like to ask you if you ever thought of what makes an event historic. I have an idea of creating a television project that looks at the inner working of an historic event.

Anatomy will be a series that brings in the people who took part in the moment. I have a few moments that were very special to me such as then presidential candidate Barack Obama winning the Democratic party and addressing the crowd on August 28, 2008. I can remember how I felt as an African-American man seeing something that I thought I would never see in my life. I felt so proud and excited for the future. I was able to show my children that one day they could run and become president. I can remember crying and calling my family members far and wide. I can remember that moment like it was yesterday.

I would love to get to interview the people who witnessed the event and ask others, "where were you when that .happened?"

What was a special event that you can remember and where were you when it took place? Here's a list of events I hope to recapture and create a series.
